Sectors

Nine sectors where engineering meets patient capital.

Every sector we cover shares the same shape: a real asset, a long payback, strong policy tailwinds and a financing gap between venture capital and bank lending.

Parking infrastructure

Indian cities are short of organised parking, and space for surface car parks is disappearing. Mechanical and fully automated systems store more cars on less land, and public-private partnerships let cities add capacity without spending their own capital.

Who we work with

  • Mechanical and automated parking manufacturers and integrators
  • Parking PPP concessions and special-purpose vehicles
  • Multi-modal hubs combining parking, retail and EV charging
  • Parking technology: sensors, booking and payments

How it is usually financed

Growth equity for equipment makers; SPV equity and term debt for PPP projects; revenue-share structures with city bodies.

Typical raise: ₹2 Cr – ₹100 Cr

ASRS & warehouse automation

India's Grade-A warehousing is automating quickly. IMARC estimates the Indian warehouse automation market at about US$822 million in 2025, growing to about US$2.8 billion by 2034 — a compound growth of about 15% a year.

Who we work with

  • Automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) makers and integrators
  • Shuttle, sortation and robotics companies
  • Robotics-as-a-service and leasing models
  • Cold-chain and temperature-controlled automation

How it is usually financed

Growth equity for integrators; equipment finance and leasing lines; working capital against confirmed orders.

Typical raise: ₹5 Cr – ₹75 Cr

Compressed biogas (CBG)

Compressed biogas blending became mandatory for CNG and piped gas from FY2025-26 at 1%, rising to 5% by FY2028-29. That creates a policy-backed market for CBG plants — if feedstock, technology and offtake are designed together.

Who we work with

  • CBG plant developers and SATAT participants
  • Feedstock aggregation (press mud, agri-residue, municipal waste, dairy)
  • Digester, upgrading and compression technology providers
  • Bio-fertiliser and digestate businesses

How it is usually financed

Project finance per plant (equity plus term loan); feedstock-chain working capital; growth equity for technology providers.

Typical raise: ₹15 Cr – ₹100 Cr per plant

Nuclear supply chain

The SHANTI Act 2025 opened civil nuclear power to private participation, and the Union Budget 2025-26 set aside ₹20,000 crore for nuclear expansion including small modular reactors. India targets about 100 GW of nuclear capacity by 2047 — creating demand for a qualified domestic supply chain.

Who we work with

  • Precision-machining and forging companies
  • Quality assurance, inspection and codes-and-standards services
  • Engineering, procurement and specialist services
  • Materials and component makers

How it is usually financed

Growth equity and long-tenor debt for qualified suppliers, focused where foreign-investment rules are clear.

Typical raise: ₹10 Cr – ₹100 Cr

Vertical farming

Controlled-environment agriculture grows premium produce close to cities, with far less water. IMARC estimates India's vertical farming market at about US$100 million in 2025, growing about 21% a year to about US$700 million by 2034.

Who we work with

  • Vertical and indoor farm operators
  • Climate-control, lighting and irrigation technology
  • Farm-to-retail and food-service supply chains
  • Seed, nutrient and crop-science suppliers

How it is usually financed

Seed to Series A equity; capex debt per farm backed by offtake contracts; equipment finance.

Typical raise: ₹1 Cr – ₹25 Cr

Roads & transport

India's highway and transport pipeline is moving from construction to operation and monetisation — through hybrid-annuity (HAM) and toll-operate-transfer (TOT) models and infrastructure investment trusts.

Who we work with

  • Highway operations and maintenance companies
  • HAM and TOT project portfolios
  • Transport, logistics and electric fleet operators
  • Specialist contractors and equipment companies

How it is usually financed

Growth equity for O&M and specialist companies; co-investment in project portfolios; fleet and equipment finance.

Typical raise: ₹10 Cr – ₹100 Cr

Theme & amusement parks

India's leisure economy is becoming infrastructure. ANAROCK and IAAPI estimate the indoor amusement market at about ₹8,400 crore in 2024, rising to about ₹15,600 crore by 2030, while listed operators are opening new parks in Tier-1 cities. Maharashtra's Tourism Policy 2024 offers amusement and theme parks a capital incentive of 15%, up to ₹15 crore.

Who we work with

  • Destination theme parks and water parks
  • Indoor family entertainment centres in malls and mixed-use schemes
  • Adventure, eco and heritage attractions
  • Ride makers, simulation, ticketing and crowd-analytics companies

How it is usually financed

Promoter and private-equity equity with long-tenor term loans; developer partnerships and equipment finance for indoor parks; state incentive structuring.

Typical raise: ₹20 Cr – ₹100 Cr

Real estate

Housing sales in India's top seven cities passed ₹6 lakh crore in 2025 (ANAROCK), office leasing reached a record 82.6 million sq ft (CBRE), and private equity into real estate rose to about US$6.7 billion (Savills). Yet mid-market developers in growing cities still find capital hard to raise.

Who we work with

  • Mid-market residential developers in Tier-1 suburbs and Tier-2 cities
  • Commercial, retail and mixed-use projects
  • Owners of leased assets of ₹50–500 crore preparing for SM REITs
  • Building-technology suppliers: parking, automation, façade, energy

How it is usually financed

Construction finance and structured debt from NBFCs, housing finance companies and real-estate funds; joint-venture equity; lease-rental discounting.

Typical raise: ₹10 Cr – ₹100 Cr

Automation & mobility technology

Underneath every modern asset is a layer of technology — EV charging, sensors, smart-city platforms, drones and building automation. These companies are often the fastest-growing suppliers to our other sectors.

Who we work with

  • EV charging and battery-swapping networks
  • Smart-city and IoT platforms
  • Drones and inspection technology
  • Building automation and energy management

How it is usually financed

Seed to Series A equity; vendor finance; strategic partnerships with asset owners.

Typical raise: ₹1 Cr – ₹15 Cr
